About the event
The history of civic engagement in the Black community is a story of resilience, courage, and determination. Our 10-week interactive campaign school is designed to teach youth about this rich history and inspire them to become engaged citizens. Through engaging activities and discussions, we aim to equip the next generation with the tools and knowledge they need to make a positive impact in their communities.
In addition to our interactive campaign school, we also offer a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Washington D.C. where students can witness history in action and learn about the inner workings of government. At the end of the program, we will hold a graduation ceremony to celebrate the achievements of our students. We believe these experiences will inspire and empower them to become effective leaders and active community participants. Join us on this journey towards a brighter future for all.
We invite teens (13-17yr) and their families to join us for an Open House to discuss the program and register for the first cohort.
